Dr. Bjorn Teislev was born May 26, 1946. His Father - Richard B. Teislev - was a Protestant Clergyman and later Dean for Randers County (Denmark). After High School, Bjorn joined the Royal Danish Navy and was discharged from the Navy 1967 as Corporal, Torpedo Boats. He got his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in 1974 (one year delay caused by too much motor biking and too little studying effort). He left the University life 1978 as Ph.D. in Thermodynamics (Thesis: Simulation of Thermal Systems). The Ph.D. Curriculum included a short leave from the University for studying Domestic Heat Pump Application and Simulation.
